It’s possible that A$AP Rocky will be subjected to fresh legal difficulties.
On April 20, after returning from a Caribbean vacation with his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna, the 33-year-old rapper was apprehended after exiting the couple’s private jet at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
According to MetroNews247, the rapper, who was held by the Los Angeles Police Department with assistance from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team, was caught in connection with a shooting that occurred in the city in the year 2021.
According to the outlet, A$AP, real name Rakim Mayers, had been “under investigation” for an incident that occurred in California in November, and that the probe was still ongoing. “Mayers approached him on the street with a handgun,” according to police reports obtained by MetroNews247, and “shot him three to four times,” the victim, who survived, told police. “Mayers shot at him three to four times, and believed one of the bullets grazed his left hand,” the victim told police, according to the police reports.
Prior to his arrest, there had been no public reporting of the shooting.
A$AP Rocky’s detention follows a two-day trip with Rihanna to her home country of Barbados, during which the rapper was detained. The “Love on the Brain” singer is presently expecting the couple’s first kid, which will be their first child together.

This isn’t the first time A$AP Mob has been involved in a legal battle of some sort. Earlier this year, during a visit to Sweden, the “F—kin’ Problems” artist was accused with assault causing visible bodily harm.
