Following the conclusion of the 90-Day Challenge. David inquires as to what they said to Amber when they denied her access to the facility once more.
“I don’t know what to say. They simply stated, ‘No.’ “They’re not going to give it,” Amber responds. Annie bursts into tears. When Amber complains, David informs her that she is not to blame. While comforting Annie and Amber, David adds, “Everything is going to be okay.”

Annie has reached a breaking point and is completely dissatisfied. “It’s just that I’ve done it so many times,” Annie says. Amber is “depressed” after being denied for the second time. The teenager admits, “I feel like I’ve caused them disappointment once more.”

With tears in her eyes Annie is perplexed as to why they were unable to find a motive for Amber’s disappearance. Amber is comforted by Annie, who advises her not to be upset about the situation.
