Britney Spears reveals she’s pregnant, with a photo of her baby bump on Instagram

In an Instagram post published on Monday, Britney Spears said that she and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, are “having a kid.”
Her wish for more children was first expressed less than a year ago, when she claimed she was unable to make her own birth control decisions while she was under a conservatorship, which was finally lifted in November.
Spears said she took a pregnancy test after seeing that her stomach was “expanding” despite having just lost weight following a trip to Hawaii, according to her. Spears was initially skeptical of Asghari’s claim that she was “food pregnant,” but she ultimately decided to go ahead and get tested.
“So I decided to take a pregnancy test… and, uhhhhh, well… I’m having a baby, you know “She composed a letter.
A request for comment from a spokeswoman for Spears did not receive a response right away. Asghari did not respond to a request for comment.
Afterwards, Asghari shared a message on his Instagram account, stating that marriage and children are integral parts of a “healthy partnership” built on love and respect.
His letter to his son said, “Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and it is not something I take lightly.” “It is the most important task I will ever do,” says the author.
The former husband of Spears, Kevin Federline, is the father of her two adolescent sons, Sean and Jayden.

Federline is aware of Spears’ social media post, according to his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.
“He wishes her the best for a happy, healthy pregnancy and congratulates her and Sam Asghari as they plan for the excitement of parenthood together,” Kaplan said.
Spears said she plans to avoid going out because of the paparazzi who harassed her during her previous two pregnancies, noting her experiences with perinatal depression and how little the experience was publicly discussed at the time.
“But now women talk about it everyday,” Spears wrote. “Thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret.”
In public testimony last year, Spears expressed a desire to have more children.

Spears told Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny that she wanted to have her intrauterine device removed but that her conservators would not allow it.
“I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby,” she said in June. “But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have any more children.”
Asghari proposed to Spears two months after the conservatorship was terminated. The couple began dating in 2016 and were engaged in September.
