Christophe Galtier announced as new coach by PSG

The French champions Paris Saint-Germain, who are controlled by Qatar, have appointed Christophe Galtier as their next coach.
The Frenchman, 55, took over for Mauricio Pochettino, who was fired from his position as Nice coach earlier on Tuesday. He left his position in June.
Since the Qataris acquired the club 11 years ago, Galtier has been PSG’s eighth coach. He led Lille to the Ligue 1 championship in 2021, and it is predicted that he will ultimately hoist the Champions League trophy.
