Mourning for “Emergency Room” star Mary Mara. The US actress drowned while swimming in a pool.

As the police announced on Monday (June 27, local time), the actress’ body was found in the Saint Lawrence River on Sunday morning. According to preliminary investigations, Mara drowned while swimming, the statement said. There are no signs of a crime. The exact cause of death is now to be found out with an autopsy.

The St. Lawrence River flows from the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean, crossing Canada and the United States. Mara resided in Cape Vincent, in upstate New York. That’s where the tragic accident happened.
Mara has starred in various TV series and films, including Law & Order, Dexter and Star Trek: Enterprise. She is best known for her roles in “Emergency Room (ER)”, “Nash Bridges”, and “Ray Donovan”. Most recently, she was in front of the camera for the film “Break Even” in 2020.
