Eve talks about the moment she found out she was pregnant

Eve, a rapper and actress, recently said that she and her husband, Maximillion Cooper, are having their first child. Queens, a new show on ABC, is about four R&B and hip-hop divas from the 1990s who go on a tour together. The former talk show host told the crew at The Breakfast Club that she found out right before she took on Trina in the Verzuz battle on June 16. Her home base is now London, but Trina stayed in Miami. The Philly-born rapper performed in London while Trina stayed in Miami.

Eve said, “That’s so weird. That’s when I found out I was pregnant.” Because my stylist didn’t bring me clothes, I was so stressed out that I could not breathe. I had a meltdown right before we went on the trip.
“It was Trina and thank God it was Swizz [Beatz] and he took care of me,” the 42-year-old said. “It was Trina and thank God it was Swizz [Beatz]. He took care of me.” It was Swizz who told me, which is why I didn’t fly to Miami.

Swizz Beatz, along with Timbaland, is one of the first people to start Verzuz, which makes music.

Because this is Eve’s first child, she also joked that performing the way she has in the past could have hurt her pregnancy. “Am I yelling too much?” No, you can’t.
