The family of an 11-year-old girl who survived the Robb Elementary School tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, claims the 4th grader pretended to be dead after the shooter entered her classroom on Tuesday.

Miah Cerrillo’s aunt and godmother claimed the fourth-grader is having trouble coping and is telling them about the incident.

“My sister-in-law contacted me at midnight, weeping and said, ‘I think it just hit Miah.’ ‘I believe everything has now come to fruition,’ says the author “Blanca Rivera expressed herself.

Irma Garcia, Miah’s teacher, was one of the two instructors slain, according to Rivera. Her classmates and friends were also targeted.

Miah went into survival mode, according to Rivera.

“Miah obtained some blood and placed it on herself to make it look like she was dead,” Rivera explained. “It’s too much for me to replay that sight, but my sister-in-law stated she saw her companion covered in blood and went out and grabbed some blood to put on herself.”

Miah was hurt, but she was transported to the hospital and discharged.

Rivera claimed, “My brother said she had gunshot pieces in her back.”

Rivera, a mother of three, said Miah’s family is rallying behind her to aid her physical, mental, and spiritual recovery.

“At this time, all we can do is pray and beg God to help us get through this circumstance, which is already terrible,” Rivera added.
