The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES) was officially launched on the 12th of October 2020 in the Presidential Villa by President Muhammadu Buhari, the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as a long-term response to the growing challenges of unemployment, youth restiveness, and poverty among Nigeria’s rapidly growing youth population.
