Kanye West Seems To Threaten Pete &Kim On New His Song: ‘Never Stand BetweenA Man & His Kids’

Kanye West celebrated the release of ‘DONDA 2’ with a nationwide IMAX event, and fans were quick to point out that even on this album, Ye wasn’t going to leave Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson alone.
Kanye “Ye” West never officially released Donda 2 on Tuesday, February 22 (aka 02/22/2022), as he had promised, although he did play the album for supporters at a listening party that night. Attendees spilled the beans on what to expect from the album, which contained some drama involving the rapper’s soon-to-be ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Kanye announced the album’s track list a few days before the release party, and “Security” was the tune that got the most attention after the Feb. 22 event. ‘Ye seems to make digs and threats at Kim and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, on the track.
According to fans who attended the listening party, Kanye raps on the song, “Never take the family picture off the fridge.” “Never put yourself between a guy and his children. You don’t have enough security for this, you don’t have enough security for this, you don’t have enough security for this. I jeopardize your security, and I acquit your security, as if we aren’t compensated adequately for our efforts.” Kanye has been open about his assertions that Kim has placed security between him and his children, and this song appears to back up those claims.

On Feb. 12, Ye announced the Donda 2 listening party by tweeting a photo of a house on fire that looked identical to the one he grew up in. For his August 2021 Donda listening session at Soldier Field in Chicago, Ye reconstructed his childhood house. Kim made an appearance wearing a Balenciaga wedding gown at the event’s conclusion in Chicago. The pair had been married for six months when Kim filed for divorce. Despite their split, Kim attended the Donda listening parties in Atlanta to show her support for Ye. However, given Ye’s previous criticisms on Kim and her connection with Pete, listeners anticipated Kim would not sing again for this first Donda 2 listening event.
