There are just ten companies in the world that supply more LNG than NLNG. On May 17, 1989, NLNG was formed as a Limited Liability Company to take use of Nigeria’s massive natural gas reserves and produce LNG and NGLs for export.

The NLNG Postgraduate Scholarship Award for 2021 has been announced.


This scholarship program, sponsored by Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), is open to qualified Nigerian citizens who wish to pursue a master’s degree in the United Kingdom.
In order to create a pool of highly qualified Nigerian professionals and recent graduates with a competitive edge, the program was created.
Eligibility and Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, all potential beneficiaries must meet the following criteria:

Have been granted provisional admission to one of the following academic programs at one of the UK schools listed below: Ingenuity in the fields of renewable energy; engineering; geosciences; environmental science; management; information technology; and in the fields of law and medicine
In this case, the University of Aberdeen
A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is required.
The NYSC program has been successfully completed.
IELTS score of 8.0 or higher is required (with not less than 7.0 in all elements)
At the time of application, you must be no older than 30 years old.
Plan to return to Nigeria after completing the specified program of study and be a Nigerian citizen
In order to verify your identity, you must submit a letter from your local government council.
Provide a letter from your employer stating that they are okay with it (if in service of any organisation)
At least one year after September 2021, have an international passport that is valid for travel.
Successful applicants will be able to apply for a UK Tier-4 student visa.
If selected, show that you can travel in September 2021.
Not be a Nigeria LNG Limited employee’s spouse, child, ward, or other close family member.

All applications must include the following documents, which must be scanned and uploaded:

a copy of your biometric data from your passport
A bachelor’s degree
Certificate of dismissal from the New York State National Guard
a letter of acceptance from the relevant UK institutions with an above-average IELTS score from the local government area (where applicable).

In order to keep you updated on the status of your application, please include a working phone number and email address.
Only those candidates who made the cut will be invited to the interview/test.
An Online Proctoring Test will be used for the selection process, allowing candidates to take the test at their convenience from the convenience of their own homes.
A personal computer or laptop with secure/steady internet connectivity is recommended for candidates.
Candidates who do not have access to their own computers can make use of a cybercafé. Prior to the Selection Test, candidates who have been shortlisted will receive more information.
