Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, Minister of State for Education, became the first of many aspirants to obtain copies of the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for the All Progressives Congress Presidential ticket on Wednesday in Abuja. Nwajiuba is one of many aspirants to vie for the party’s presidential ticket.
A group of Nigerians, according to details of the purchase obtained by The PUNCH, pooled N100 million to purchase both forms, which the Minister of State obtained.
Buhari’s ministers who wish to run for Electoral seats are required to resign from their existing positions prior to the APC primary elections, which will take place between May 30 and June 1, 2022, according to article 84(12) of the recently adopted Electoral Act 2022.
Nwajiuba is not the same person.
