Real Madrid vs. Man City: Benzema is the hero once again as Real Madrid clinches a place in the Champions League final

Real Madrid overcame Manchester City in an astonishing comeback to go to the Champions League final, where they will meet Liverpool.

After Riyad Mahrez’s superb goal put City in front on the night, they appeared likely to reach the final with a 1-0 lead from the first leg.

Madrid, on the other hand, managed to make it to Paris with a dramatic late show, like they have done throughout this Champions League season.

Los Blancos refused to give up and eventually caused City issues. Jack Grealish had two fantastic chances.

Madrid had gone 90 minutes without a shot on target, but in stoppage time, substitute Rodrygo scored twice in as many minutes to force an extra 30 minutes.

Madrid gained the lead in extra time thanks to a penalty from Karim Benzema, who was fouled in the area by Ruben Dias.

The quest for City to win the Champions League continues, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side will now be trying to add to their already impressive list of European titles.
