Ukraine, March 30 (Metronews247)- Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. Russian forces are employing phosphorous ammunition and shelling communities along the front line separating Ukrainian-controlled territory from territories held by Russian-backed forces in the eastern Donetsk region, according to the local governor.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, speaking on national television, also stated that the most recent attempt to evacuate civilians from the besieged port city of Mariupol had most likely failed due to the fact that convoys of civilians were not being permitted to pass through the city. When evacuation attempts have failed in the past, Ukraine and Russia have traded accusations of failure.
