The Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers will face off in the first game of the Western Conference playoffs on Tuesday night at Ball Arena. It’s the first time in 20 years that Colorado has advanced this far in the NHL Playoffs.

Game 1 of the series will be played at 6 p.m. in Denver. Ticketmaster.com is the place to go to get your tickets.

Game 2 will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday in Denver.

After Friday night’s 3-2 triumph in St. Louis, the editors of the Ball Arena Facebook page said, “We can’t wait.”

For Games 3 and 4, the series moves to Canada. On June 4 and 6, they will both begin at 6 p.m. and take place at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

TNT will broadcast the first four games.

Games 5-7 will be played on June 8, 10, and 12 if required.

During the regular season, the Avs and Oilers clashed three times. On April 22, the Avalanche won the first two games but lost the last game.
